You can see what I am up to and keep in touch over at www.clayroofrising.com. It seems that after a season of developing myself as a mother and homemaker, the Lord has moved me to another phase. Who knows what will come next!

We also caved and set up a tent at My Space - www.myspace.com/clayroofrising

See you there!

This book is GREAT. Very well organized with lots of fun, doable projects. It seems to have a good sense of child behavior, interest and learning-styles.

I have created a monster. A wonderful one, to be sure. Something clicked with my husband a month or two ago and now he eats far healthier than I. Why is it that once men decide to do something, they seem to really be able to do it, while women frequently decide to do many things but rarely follow through completely? So while I still wrestle with my idols, chocolate and coffee, dh decided he wanted to feel better one day and hasn’t had either since. Not once. Such will power! Amazing. And WOW! It is so much easier to cook healthy for a husband that really wants to eat that way rather than one you feel like you are nagging with the very food you place on the plate.

So lately it is my husband that is pushing our family health wise, while I play with my horse and write songs. Today he emailed me this great article on the health benefits of curry, a long time favorite spice. I knew curry seemed to help my metabolism along, but if I had read about the anti-inflammatory properties, they were long forgotten.
